Fortiva Health began with a simple observation: in many rural communities, a proven, low-cost way to prevent malnutrition — food fortification — simply wasn't reaching the people who needed it most.
Drawing on years of public-health experience in Uganda, our founder set out to close that gap. Rather than build something entirely new, Fortiva coordinates what already exists — local farmers, regional mills, schools, clinics, and retailers — into a single platform that brings fortified staple foods to households for the first time.
Today, Fortiva Health is preparing to launch its first pilot, with a long-term vision that reaches well beyond it.
